Bruce McGregor

Bruce McGregor is a former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney (1983- 1987). Mr. McGregor is a founding member of the Benjamin Aranda II American Inns of Court. He has been designated a Master Trial Lawyer in the American Inns of Court. Mr. McGregor is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the South Bay Bar Association and the Harbor Bar Association. Mr. McGregor graduated from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia (1972). Mr. McGregor graduated from Northrop School of Law, Los Angeles (1983) which has now assimilated into Western State University School of Law.

Robert Ernenwein

Robert Ernenwein is a former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney (1984-1987). Mr. Ernenewein is a Certified Criminal Law Specialist as certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Ernenwein is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, California Attorney's for Criminal Justice, and the California Public Defenders Association. Mr. Ernenwein graduated from Manhattan College, New York City 1981. Mr. Ernenwein graduated from Whittier College School of Law, 1984. While in law school Mr. Ernenwein was a member of the prestigious Law Review, the Moot Court Honors Board, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Society. He was also Whittier Law School's Student Bar Association President in 1984. After graduation Mr. Ernenwein was elected President of the Alumni Association in 1993 and voted Whittier College School of Law Alumni of the Year for 1993. Mr. Ernenwein has been a regular legal commentator for KTLA Los
Angeles television, CNN's Burden of Proof with Greta Van Sustern and Court TV. He has also appeared on Fox News Live with host Martha MacCallum, Fox News Live with host Linda Vester, Court TV with host Catherine Crier, Fox News Live with host John Gibson, Fox News Live with host Rick Folbaum and Fox News Live with host Greg Garrett.

Conrad Barrington

Mr. Barrington is a new associate with the firm. He graduated from Rice University in 2000. He attended Whittier Law School on a Full Dean's Merit Scholarship, and he graduated in the top 5% of his class in 2003. In law school, Mr. Barrington was a member of the Law Review, and his article, "PhRMA v. Concannon and Maine's Prescription Rebate Statute" was published in the Summer 2002 issue of the Whittier Law Review. He has acted as a law clerk for Judge David Workman in the Los Angeles Superior Court in 2001, and later, for Presiding Justice David G. Sills in the Court of Appeal for the Fourth Appellate District, Division Three in Santa Ana.

Jill Veglahn

Jill Veglahn is our office manager, and works as the direct assistant to the attorneys in the firm. She grew up in Northern California and attended California State University of Hayward as a Psychology major. Jill is in regular contact with the courts, local arresting agencies, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and many other agencies involved in the defense of your case. She regularly files legal motions and serves subpoenas, and she also manages the accounting for the firm.

Annette Francesconi

Annette Francesconi, our legal assistant, is the newest addition to the McGregor & Ernenwein firm. She grew up in New Jersey, and graduated from Rowan University in 1998 with a BA in Communications and a specialization in Journalism. She has previously worked as a legal secretary with the Law Offices of Musser & Carbone, a civil defense litigation firm in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Annette works together with the office manager to ensure that everything at the firm runs smoothly.

Carmen Curti

After working as a business analyst for Dun & Bradstreet, a credit reporting agency, for fourteen years and as a financial specialist for Republic Bank for another fourteen years, Carmen was recruited by McGregor & Ernenwein in December of 1999 to provide office assistance and billing support. Carmen specializes in client relations and can assist you with many questions and concerns throughout your case.

Robert J. Roberts

Mr. Roberts is the firm accountant. After graduating from Augustana College, Mr. Roberts served 3 years in the Navy. Mr. Roberts did graduate work in accounting at USC and obtained a public accountancy license. In addition to working as a private accountant he also practiced public accountancy for 40 years. Mr. Roberts was awarded the Professional Designation of Certified Internal Auditors by the Institute of Internal Auditors in 1975. He has been with McGregor & Ernenwein since they opened in 1987.
